For the first time Doghouse & Bone and Farewell Records in France will release these ultra-rare sides on 45rpm from the original “one-man band wild-man”, as a tribute to the great Hasil Adkins. Back in 1991, A French fan, Pat Le Meur, spent two weeks in Boone County, West Virginia. He called on Hasil and stayed for 4 days at his place, a cabin near the tar paper shack Hasil’s family rented from a local coal company. Hasil really liked Pat and sent him back to France with a box full of West Virginia gold; Hasil home recordings.
